The Wind of Retribution. The Tokyo International Military Tribunal in the History of Civilization

The Tokyo process (1946-1948), which took place immediately after the Nuremberg "Trial of the Nations" against the main Nazi criminals, put a final, victorious point in World War II, which claimed the lives of over 50 million people. The Tokyo Tribunal condemned the instigators of aggressive wars, aimed at conquering world domination, enslaving peaceful peoples, and establishing the right of the "strong and chosen" to disregard any rules and moral norms regarding "inferior" races. The International Tribunal in Tokyo against Japanese war criminals, who committed monstrous crimes against peace and humanity, became a strong proof that aggression and terror directed against the civilian population must not and cannot go unpunished.
