Murder in the Garden House

1978. In the gardening community "Ogonёk", one of the veterans, Nikolai Furman, is killed by an axe blow on his own plot. A task force led by Sergey Agafanov determines the suspects: a neighbor from the dacha, who was Furman's secret lover and intended to break off the relationship, and a second neighbor, who had long been claiming the "extra" plots of the deceased. Each of them had a motive for Nikolai's death. The investigation promises to be classic: the suspects are evident, the motives are clear, the evidence is irrefutable.
