Igor Rabiner, a well-known author of bestsellers about the team "Spartak", has changed his approach and created a book that offers a new understanding of the history of one of the oldest football clubs in Russia.
"Spartak" and its heroes, presented... in this book, are a work of art in themselves. Because only art can evoke such a storm of emotions in people for a whole century, which they want not only to spill out in screams at stadiums but also to express in poetry, songs, films, and finally, books.
"Spartak" is also beautiful because it does not have any single, dry, mathematically precise understanding and explanation. Just like football in general. For Lovchev it may be one way, for Gradsky - another, for me - a third, for you - a fourth. And every interpretation has the right to exist. Just like any explanation of true art.
