The Prophetic Sisters

This story is well known to all. The treacherously murdered king. A usurper slowly going mad. The rightful heir forced to hide. Three dreadful witches gathering for their meetings, uttering terrifying prophecies and malevolently laughing over their cauldron… Very engaging, if one forgets that it was not at all like that. Mother Windwhisk, nanny Yagg, and Magrat Cheesnock – witches.

They live peacefully in a mountain kingdom, occasionally gathering for meetings to drink tea, and do not even think about prophesying (although the nanny is happy to chuckle at a good joke). 

They do not meddle with any kings, even when their own is killed under extremely suspicious circumstances. They had to save a little prince (it just happened that way), but they placed him in the reliable hands of traveling actors. 

That’s all. However, the usurper has a different opinion on the matter. He is diligently making life miserable for the little coven, and its members are very angry about it. And it’s better not to get involved with an angry witch…
