2033. A devastating war has turned the world into a radioactive desert, forcing Muscovites to seek shelter in the metro.

Over the years, its stations have become real states, trading or warring with each other.

On the surface, monsters and mutants roam the ruins of the metropolis, while down in the tunnels, terrible things happen. Artyom, a resident of VDNH, must embark on a dangerous journey to Polis to save his station from mutants, and perhaps even the entire metro.
