Anne of Avonlea

In the life of sixteen-year-old Anne Shirley, a new stage begins: the girl is preparing to start the school year as a teacher at the local school, persuades Marilla to take in the twins, and along with her friends, establishes the "Society for the Improvement of Life in Avonlea".
