This book includes two fundamental works by the famous Soviet psychiatrist Petr Gannushkin: «Sensuality, Cruelty and Religion» and «The Clinic of Psychopathies, Their Statics, Dynamics, and Systematics». In these works, he first systematizes psychopathies and also describes their signs and causes in detail. Theoretical knowledge is supported by the most vivid cases from nearly thirty years of Gannushkin's medical practice.
