Board Game - The Mystery of the House of Shadows

"The Mystery of the House of Shadows" – is an exciting card game with hidden roles and quick rounds, each of which becomes a real detective investigation. Here, two sides collide – cunning criminals and insightful detectives, and all of... them strive to achieve their goal.
To win, you will need a sharp mind, the art of bluffing, and persuasion. Only with their help can you unravel the mystery and bring the case to a conclusion… or skillfully confuse the others, derailing the investigation and leaving everyone in complete bewilderment. Are you ready for an intellectual duel?

Prepare the deck of cards according to the instructions in the game rules: the number of cards in the deck will vary based on the number of guests at this dinner party. After preparation, deal each player 4 cards, and place the unused ones in the center of the table along with the victory point tokens.
On your turn, you must play one card from your hand in front of you and activate its special effect, after which the turn passes to the neighbor on the left. That’s all the rules of this simple and elegant game, but the devil is in the details! The deck contains 7 types of cards: murder, criminal, accomplice, detective, sheriff, alibi, and additional cards. The player who receives the "crime" plays it first, thus starting the game. The task of the player holding the "criminal" is to play it last. If he succeeds, then he and all players with "accomplices" in front of them win the round and receive 2 victory points each.
By playing a "detective," you can point to any player and ask if he is the criminal. The player must answer honestly, and if the detective reveals him, he receives 2 points, while all other players (except accomplices) receive 1 point. However, there is an "alibi" card that allows the criminal to lie... And this is not all the cards and effects waiting for you in the game.
Do not forget the main thing! You are allowed – and we even encourage you to do so – to discuss the course of the game with each other, BUT without revealing your cards.

When one of the sides wins, the round comes to an end, and the earned points are distributed among the participants. After this, a new round begins. If at the end of the round any player has 10 or more victory points, the game ends, and that player is declared the winner!
