Louis II, the King of Bavaria, summoned all known architects to build the greatest structure – a castle whose glory would spread throughout the world. However, it seems that the king has completely lost his mind... Will you be able...
to satisfy all his whims and present him with one of the best sketches for realizing his mad ideas?
This time, the game about building castles presents itself in a new form – flip-and-sketch. Here, players must create drawings using colored pencils and cards featuring various rooms, gardens, and other enhancements. Each turn, participants must choose one of such cards depicting rooms, halls, chambers, and corridors of a medieval castle, which will not always take logical and familiar shapes for the architect. This is because, to win, they will need to fit, and sometimes cram, these rooms into strictly allocated frames of the game boards-drawings according to certain rules to score as many points as possible. Additionally, the entrances to the rooms need to align as well. The king is certainly mad, but not to the extent of building walls behind a door.
Not very good at drawing straight lines? No problem. Each player's drawing board is pre-marked with a grid that can be used for placing rooms and aligning doors. And if that's not enough for the budding architects, the drawing sheets themselves are made of transparent paper, allowing players to simply place the chosen room card underneath the sheet and trace it. Voila! Not only creative but also very convenient.
In "Drawings," you take on the role of architect-designers and create a castle worthy of the king.
Each turn, you choose a room card, trace it onto your sheet, connect the rooms, and earn unique rewards.
The game features individual goals and the opportunity to create combos, a spirit of competition, yet each game session unfolds meditatively, with pleasant creative immersion.
Ten rounds, and you are ready to present your drawing to the entire august court.
