White Nights

Unrequited love, deep loneliness, the collapse of a dream, and the image of a dreamer unite Dostoevsky's early and most poetic stories "White Nights" and "The Landlady".
The heroes of these works fall in love, sacrifice themselves, try to break free from unfavorable conditions and the monotony of gray life, and wander through the streets of St. Petersburg, lovingly described by the author, in a trance. This love is also reflected in the cycle of feuilletons "St. Petersburg Chronicle", where the image of the dreamer appears for the first time.
