The Science of Victory

«The Science of Victory» — a brilliant work by the greatest Russian commander Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov (1730–1800). The book is a universal manual that succinctly outlines the essence of the Suvorov system of effective training and upbringing of troops, the main principles of his military strategy and tactics. It is precisely due to these principles and this system that the troops under Suvorov's command achieved numerous victories and suffered no defeats.
The edition also includes works by the largest Russian military theorists dedicated to Suvorov's «Science of Victory» (Dragomirov M. I., Gerua A. V., Golovin N. N., Kersnovsky A. A.), memoirs of contemporaries (Davyidov D. V.), the autobiography and aphorisms of A. V. Suvorov.
