The poems and graphics of Günter Grass, collected in this volume, were written in Denmark at the end of summer 2006. They represent Günter Grass's artistic reaction to the discussion that flared up in the media around the publication of his memoirs "Onion of Memory". From disparate emotions and impressions, Grass created a book as an art object, where text and illustrations form an inseparable whole.
