Natalia and Katya live in a large Siberian city and have never met each other.
They both dream of a better life, so Natalia actively meets promising foreigners online, while Katya is learning English.
They are lucky: Katya met an American named... Nathan completely by chance when he was traveling on the Trans-Siberian Railway, and Natalia charmed a Chilean named Javier in correspondence so much that he rushed to his beloved from halfway across the world. In the girls' hometown, there is much that is unusual. The cult of a famous Russian writer from the 19th century is worth noting, for which every year girls in white dresses dance around the monument to the classic.
And this is far from the strangest ritual... The story, which began as a romantic melodrama, turns into a real folk horror in the spirit of the films "The Wicker Man" and "The Storms" by Darya Bobyleva.
