Events in the Zone of the North continue to unfold. The idea of exchanging gifts-artifacts for goods between Monchetundra and Romanov-on-Murman is supported by all members of the group "Stalker". However, will the Monchetundrans, who are collecting those very gifts... in the deadly dangerous Twilight, agree to this? And will anyone want to get involved in the risky venture of exchange in the provincial center? To find answers to these two crucial questions, the stalkers decide to temporarily split up. Cyber Zan, hacker Lom, and clever dog Medok head to the shores of the Kola Bay, while the others, including the author Vasyuta, must prepare the residents of Monchetundra for cooperation. But "to prepare" sounds mundane and boring when only spoken. In reality, the stalkers will face not only humans from hostile groups but also inhuman creations of the Twilight - treacherous traps of anomalies and hideous mutants.
