Who am I? What happened to me? Exile — comes to mind. My name is Peter, but lately, I was called more often Pete. I was trading weapons. Illegally? Or did I kill someone? No, I can't remember committing any... crimes. But you don't end up where I am now without some criminal background. I know this for sure from somewhere, even though it feels like something is missing in my memory, as if censorship has erased it. There's also an image: a trial, a sentence, a choice — prison or here. Here — is the Land of Outlaw, the Outlaw Land of some Wild West, from the 19th century, and it's reminiscent of Montana or Southern Siberia. But whatever you call it — it's a zone, a penal region. Criminals are sent here, brains are cleaned — and then off you go. Survive as you want, or rather, as you can. Well, I ended up here, and since the game is set, I'll have to manage...
