About Shadowrun
You are in front of a grim world of the future where technology and a stifling atmosphere are mixed with fantasy races, magic, and even esotericism. The tabletop role-playing system has seen a new influx of players and popularity thanks to a series of video games based on previous editions of the game. You will find yourself in the sixth edition of Shadowrun rules and participate in tactical battles, cast spells, and of course, hack computer networks.

To immerse themselves in the universe, players create runner characters – mercenaries ready to carry out any assignments, including not entirely legal ones, from megacorporations and mafia to religious cults and secret societies.

As is customary in tabletop role-playing games, one of the participants takes on the role of the Game Master, who describes the world, tells the story, and plays other characters.

How to Play?
The basic mechanics of the Shadowrun tabletop role-playing game are simple: you have a set of dice equal to the combined value of your Skill and the associated Attribute. By rolling six-sided dice, you perform an action check to determine whether your character accomplished what they set out to do. Hitting with a weapon, hacking a system, persuading a police officer, and much more that you or your Game Master can imagine.

Traditionally, the adventure revolves around runs – jobs that the characters receive and must complete. You meet with a fixer who represents the client's interests and receive the necessary instructions, hints, and other information or materials. After that, the real work begins...

The course of each mission is unique and depends on the assignment, as well as the skills of the hero team. Perhaps you will manage to finish the job without a single bullet, using your charm, hacking skills, or stealthy infiltration. But sometimes, the assignment itself implies a fight, and that's when the dice come into play.

With a special "Advantage" mechanic, the Game Master can alter the conditions of battle, granting special points that can be used to change the values of dice rolls. Perhaps you were ambushed, or you are well-oriented on this street, or even know the gang's weak spots – all of these are advantages for you or your enemies. This system forces players to carefully plan their assignments and execute them with finesse.
