Men Without Women

Haruki Murakami is a Japanese writer who became a classic during his lifetime. He gained worldwide fame with his novels "Norwegian Wood," "A Wild Sheep Chase," and "Kafka on the Shore." Murakami is a great admirer of Franz Kafka's work. It's no coincidence that one of his latest collections begins with the story "The Lover of Samsa." This work became the starting point for creating the book "Men Without Women." The main characters in Murakami's stories are men who have been left by women for various reasons. Some were separated by infidelity, others by death, some found themselves alone by chance, while for some it is a conscious choice.
