Hellgate. Family

Hellgate, Louisiana is one of those provincial towns where nothing happens, and life is simple and clear. But seven years ago, something incredible happened: someone set fire to the Hughes' family mansion. In the fire, the governor himself and his... entire family perished. A local repeat offender was accused of the crime, and the case was closed. However, an error crept into the investigation, and a few years later, the supposed murderer was set free. When a dead body is found in the swamps, the new sheriff of Hellgate takes on the investigation from seven years ago. He is assisted by a local journalist and a visiting amateur detective. However, the former clearly conceals the truth about her past, and the latter is the niece of a witch from the local coven. Additionally, the sheriff faces difficulties with vampires, and a huge monster lurks in the swamps. In short, there's no time for boredom — survival is the priority.
