Forensic expert Valeria Goryaeva thought she would never be surprised again. Until a young woman's body appeared on her table, having turned into a dried-up old woman after death. The investigator is not going to open a case, as there... are no signs of violent death, and he considers the woman's age to be simply an expert's mistake. To restore her good name, Lera decides to investigate this complex case on her own. She is assisted by Major Pavlov, who also dislikes unexplained deaths. Together, they must track down a mysterious criminal, and soon it becomes clear: he will not stop at just one victim. Either the killer possesses some supernatural abilities, or... he is not human at all.
