Master of Blood

In one of the parks in Berlin, the body of a girl who died under horrific circumstances is found. The body was discovered on a bench in an awkward half-sitting position, slightly leaning to the left. Soon, a series of... similarly mysterious murders occurs. All the victims are young, exsanguinated women. And they all share one strange feature: a frozen happy smile on their faces. The investigation is taken up by a German special operations team – the extravagant beauty Diana, a young but already disillusioned police officer Mark Schneider, and Atalik Tezer, a German of Turkish descent. All the murders bear the hallmarks of vampires, but what vampires can there be in the modern urban world? Eva Bash is a linguist and a finalist in the Open Central Asia-2014 competition.
