The book is the nineteenth volume of a series dedicated to the White Movement in Russia and describes the military actions of the armies of the Supreme Ruler of Russia, Admiral A.V. Kolchak, in Eastern Russia from the autumn of... 1918 to November 1919, that is, from Kolchak's assumption of the office of Supreme Ruler of Russia to the beginning of the Great Siberian Ice March. Among the authors of this volume are Generals P.P. Petrov and K.V. Sakharov, whose memoirs provide not only descriptions of military operations but also an analysis of the political and revolutionary situations of that time and an analysis of the reasons for the defeat of the White Cause. The book is accompanied by extensive and previously unpublished commentaries containing several hundred unknown biographical notes about the authors and the heroes of the essays.
