Chess is one of the oldest and most popular logical games in the world to this day, as well as an intellectual sport, the highest achievement of... which is the title of world champion. 
 
Checkers — a logical board game for two players, consisting of moving pieces (checkers) in a specific manner across the checkers board. During the game, each player has checkers of one color: black or white (sometimes other colors, one of which is considered dark and the other — light). The objective of the game is to capture all the opponent's checkers or to deprive them of the ability to move (to trap them). There are several variants of checkers, differing in rules and sizes of the playing field.
 
Backgammon — literally: brave Ardashir, other common names: trictrac, backgammon, tapeh, tavla, shesh-besh, kosha — a board game for two players on a special board divided into two halves. The objective of the game is to bring all your pieces into your home and remove them from the board before the second player does. Players take turns rolling dice and moving their checkers according to the rolled numbers, making a complete circuit around the board to their home and bearing them off the board. There are two main varieties — long and short backgammon.
 
Playing cards — rectangular sheets made of cardboard or thin plastic, used for card games as well as magic, divination.
A set of cards for playing is called a deck. Each card on one side, called the face, displays its value, and the other side (the back) is designed identically for all cards in the deck. Most modern games use a standard (French) deck of 54 cards, or its trimmed variants (German, Spanish). Some games use special decks, for example, in collectible card games.
