Nikolai Berdyaev. The Fate of Russia. Self-Knowledge. The Russian Idea

The greatest Russian philosopher of the first half of the 20th century, the author of an original concept of the philosophy of personality and freedom — Nikolai Berdyaev in his work managed to synthesize and rethink the conclusions of a number of contemporary domestic and foreign philosophical and historical trends. His "Russian Idea" will remain one of the remarkable works of domestic self-consciousness for many years. It analyzes the history of Russia in the context of the Russian idea, Orthodox faith, spirituality, and freedom. "The Fate of Russia" examines the characteristics of the character and soul type of the Russian people, its influence on the fate of the country and the spiritual rethinking of the history of the state for building a better future. The book "Self-Knowledge", published posthumously, became one of Berdyaev's last works, a kind of summary of his reflections.
