In modern Saint Petersburg, 25-year-old Mira meets influential Ibrahim Asadovich, who shares with her the sad story of his family: his youngest daughter Leila died in a fire five years ago under strange circumstances. He shows her a photograph in which Mira looks exactly like Leila. Ibrahim offers Mira a lucrative deal: in exchange for a generous reward, she must spend the last months of the life of his dying wife Mahira in their home to help her find peace. Agreeing to the proposal, Mira finds herself drawn into a dangerous game: over time, she realizes that the fire was unlikely to be an accident, and moreover, a mysterious stranger is watching her, while no one wants to reveal family secrets.
