The Time of Troubles in Russia at the Beginning of the 17th Century. Historical Atlas

One of the turning points in the history of Russia was the era of the Time of Troubles (1604-1618), which included popular uprisings, foreign intervention, and a series of impostors. Although this period is the subject of numerous scientific books and articles, works of fiction, films, and even computer games, there is a peculiar "white spot" represented by the extremely small number of maps from this time that reflect the tumultuous social and political processes and movements taking place. 

The proposed atlas provides the most complete selection of historical maps depicting the events of this time, from the campaign of False Dmitry I to the conclusion of the Deulino truce.
