Mistress of the Swamp

In the midst of dense forests and boggy swamps – where no human foot has ever trod, a war has long been waged between the evil spirits. Once, the wise and just ruler Zhiv ruled over these wooded lands, but he perished at the hands of the malevolent master of the swamps, the half-brother of Mor. Since then, the swamp has been encroaching for many years with its black mire upon the forest, threatening its destruction. Where wise forest guardians once protected the woods, cunning kikimoras now reside. Yet, the daughter of the master of the swamp, Yasna, suddenly falls in love with the brave and daring Svetozar, the protector of the forest. Will their feelings bring an end to the war? Or will revenge and the dark secrets held by the swamp destroy their love?
