Aesthetics. The Idea of the Beautiful in Art, or the Ideal

Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770-1831) is a world-renowned thinker, one of the creators of German classical philosophy. In his lectures on aesthetics, Hegel reveals a dialectical understanding of the beautiful in human life through artistic-imaginary activity. The idea of the beautiful in art, or the ideal, is that true aesthetic manifests and is created only in free artistic creativity, giving the world works of art, that is, the idea as reality, which has received a form corresponding to its concept.
