The Life of Arsenyev

In 1933, Ivan Bunin — the first of Russian writers — was awarded the Nobel Prize. According to the writer, this was primarily related to the novel "The Life of Arsenyev," which he wrote in France. The main character, Alexei Arsenyev, reflects on his childhood and youth through the lens of memories. Childhood in the family estate, studying in a gymnasium, an interest in poetry, first love… He realizes how fleeting time is and how important it is to cherish every moment.
