The Boy and the Dog

The dog Tamon, who lost his owner during a terrible earthquake, embarks on a long journey across Japan in search of the boy who once played with him in the park. Along the way, he encounters various people: a guy who has become involved with criminals for the sake of his ill mother, a foreign robber, a deceived prostitute, a dying elderly hunter, and finally, the very boy who stopped talking and smiling after the earthquake... They all suffer in their own way, but after meeting Tamon, each of their lives becomes easier and happier. The manga is based on the novel "The Boy and the Dog" by Seishu Hase.
