In a small Swedish town on the eve of the New Year, a masked man armed with a gun, after an unsuccessful attempt to rob a bank, takes eight hostages during a showing of an apartment for sale. A crowd... of sensation-hungry reporters quickly gathers outside the building, the police block all access to the house and prepare to storm the apartment... the atmosphere is heating up. Unable to withstand the growing tension, the hostages share their most intimate secrets with each other... Soon the robber begins to lean towards the idea that perhaps it is better to voluntarily surrender to the police than to continue to remain in a confined space with all these unbearable people...
