You are holding Volume II of "Capital" in your hands. Of all the volumes of Karl Marx's large-scale project, this one has the most relevance to Russia. The first edition, released in the "Anthology of Economic Thought" series in 2011, has become a bibliographic rarity. Today, in an updated version, it continues the publication of Karl Marx's "Capital" in three volumes (2024). When working on the edition, the experience of both canonical Soviet editions and the latest German editions within the framework of the International MEGA project (Marx-Engels Gesamtausgabe) was taken into account. The text of the second volume is published with an clarified translation of several passages and updated comments. The second part of the volume contains a significant number of valuable texts that do not belong to Marx but are closely related to the problems of reproduction and circulation and are grouped into thematic sections. A world-famous review of Volume II of "Capital" by the German economist and statistician W.
