Captain Pantoja and the Special Service

Mario Vargas Llosa (b. 1936) is a Peruvian writer, one of the outstanding representatives of Latin American prose, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2010, the Cervantes Prize, and other prestigious awards, a member of the French Academy, and a knight of the Order of the Legion of Honour. The collection includes two works by the author: the novel "Captain Pantoja and the Special Service" and an autobiographical narrative about first love – "Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter."
