Board Game - Warriors of Odin (Helvetiq)

"Warriors of Odin" is a compact card game where players must combine their Vikings to play the most successful combination. The goal of the game is to be the first to discard all cards from their hand and ultimately score... the least penalty points. "Warriors of Odin" is suitable for fans of fast card-discarding tabletop games and value combinations - such as "Cow 006", "Velonimo", and "Rummikub".

The game is played over several rounds, with each round consisting of several parts. At the beginning of a round, you receive 9 cards. Then the first player places exactly one card face-up on the table. The other players take turns either placing one or several cards or passing their turn. The values of the played cards must be higher than those previously played, and the count must equal or exceed their maximum by one. When playing several cards, all must either be of the same rank or of the same color. In the latter case, arrange them in descending order. The resulting sequence is the value of the played combination.

After you play cards, take one of the previously placed cards into your hand and discard the others. Instead of playing cards, you can skip your turn and play cards in the next round. However, if all players skip their turn, and the cards on the table return to the player who played them, the round ends. All cards on the table are discarded, and the same player starts a new round by placing one card on the table. When any player manages to lay all their cards on the table, the round ends. Remaining cards in hand will bring their owners one penalty point each. Record the score and start a new round. The loser is the one who accumulates 15 penalty points!
