The Labyrinths of Piety

The church life of a modern person sometimes resembles wandering through a tangled labyrinth: an endless array of prohibitions and prescriptions, often unclear and contradictory to one another. It can be quite difficult to figure out what in this infinite code of rules is rooted in the wisdom of Sacred Tradition, and what we observe simply out of habit and fear of doing something wrong.
