Krampus, Lord of Yule

Once on Christmas in a small place in the Bunn area, in West Virginia, a failed bard named Jess Walker witnesses a strange occurrence: seven creatures resembling devils chase a man in a red coat, suspiciously similar to... Santa Claus.... The fugitive jumps into a sleigh pulled by reindeer, the “devils” follow him, the reindeer soar into the sky, and they all disappear into the clouds. From there, screams can be heard, and a few seconds later, a bag falls to the ground — THE VERY magical bag of gifts. And it is because of this bag that the unfortunate musician falls under the power of the somewhat terrifying (and strange) Lord of Yule named Krampus. But the line between good and evil becomes less obvious when Jess's new master begins to reveal to him the dark secrets hidden behind the sweet exterior of rosy-cheeked Santa Claus. Including the story of how, for half a millennium now, the kind-hearted Santa imprisoned Krampus in a dungeon and appropriated his magic.
