Memorial. The Taken House

«Memorial» — is a community of public organizations engaged in human rights and the history of the victims of Soviet repressions. At the moment when the Nobel Committee awarded «Memorial» the Peace Prize, Boris Belenkin was in Moscow in the courthouse and was appearing as a defendant in a lawsuit by the prosecutor's office, which had imposed a seizure on the society's premises.
