Elina Odintsova, a young and ambitious ecologist, decides to leave her caring family and familiar comfort for a job on the other side of the country. Platon Smolin, a research engineer and professional racer, leads a strict and measured lifestyle. He is used to working in an established team, and the arrival of a new employee irritates and repels him. From the first moments of their acquaintance, a fierce hatred ignites between Elina and Platon.
