This edition contains sermons and reflections on God and faith by Meister Eckhart (c. 1260 - 1328), an outstanding German church figure, one of the most original minds of the Middle Ages, who was at the origins of the German philosophical tradition and had a significant influence on the formation of the literary German language. As a representative of Rhineland mysticism, Eckhart perceived all existence as a miracle and a hidden symbol, and in his sermons, using simple words, spoke with parishioners about his own experience of knowing God.
