Hour of the Bull

Ivan Antonovich Efremov (1908—1972) is a well-known writer, paleontologist, and the founder of modern Russian science fiction. The novel "Hour of the Bull" tells the story of humanity in the year 4030. The starship "Dark Flame" is sent to the planet Tormans, where a clash occurs between two civilizations: a utopian earthly society and a world of Tormans drawn into totalitarian shackles.
