Little Tragedies

Gift edition of "Little Tragedies" by Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin with engravings by the artist Mikhail Belogurov. Student of the associate professor of the "Illustration and Print" department Sergey Krestovsky, Mikhail Belogurov is a graduate of the V.A. Favorsky Institute of Graphics... and Book Art at Mospolytech, and continues the traditions of the VKhUTEMAS school, where the art of engraving received theoretical and practical justification. 
The design of the edition as a whole, as well as individual plots for the work of A.S. Pushkin, was imbued with heightened expression by Belogurov. The illustrations for "Little Tragedies" are executed in the technique of engraving on plexiglass and linoleum. The edition is adorned with alternating title pages and endings. Each character of the work is presented by the artist as an expressive image with a unique plastic solution.
