The First Contact with an alien civilization was something that people did not fully understand. The technologies obtained in the game also work in the real world, and the knowledge gained is rapidly advancing earthly science. Antigravity. Laser weapons. Space engines. Other worlds and spaces with different physical laws… All this is of immense interest, and therefore governments and large corporations are racing to explore the game that distorts reality. However, traditional methods are not very effective, and earthly factions are falling behind in this game, losing in technological development not only to alien races but also to representatives of an alternative world to ours, filled with magic. And so, in an attempt to change the situation, the game sends hardcore gamer students. Kirill Komarov is one such student, expelled from Moscow State University for excessive fascination with computer games. The inability to live by strict rules and the excessive independence of the player lead to numerous conflicts. But it soon becomes clear that only such an adventurous style of play will lead to success, and Komar is humanity's main hope for survival.
