Experiment Set - Tin Tree

Simple Instructions

Attach one "crocodile" clip to each wire of the "crown" battery holder.

Insert a new "crown" battery into the terminal, and secure the "crocodiles" to the cup so that they are on opposite sides of each other.

Pour the lead chloride solution into the cup. The "crocodiles" should touch the solution.

Observe: soon you will see a beautiful pattern.

Result. As the current passes through the solution from the negative to the positive electrode, tin crystals grow in the form of regular linear patterns.
