Melissa Garcia is a professional hockey player and captain of the women's national team, a student at Oregon State University, and a girl who has not lived up to her parents' expectations. She is obsessed with her career, does not need relationships, and tries to avoid the attention of guys, especially one whom she hates. Edward FleMing is the captain of the Oregon Ducks hockey team, a popular guy whom girls go crazy for, but his heart is already taken.
