The novel "Dracula" by Bram Stoker needs no introduction. This work has become canonical for vampire literature. Through diary entries, letters, and newspaper clippings, the author creates an atmosphere of horror and mystery, immersing the reader in a dark world... where ancient legends and superstitions intersect with reality. Young lawyer Jonathan Harker travels to the mysterious Count Dracula with the aim of selling him real estate in England. Upon arriving at the castle, which is located in a remote wilderness, the hero begins to feel anxiety and fear. What dangers lurk within the walls of the empty castle and whom can one encounter in its dark corridors? The text of the work has been shortened and adapted for level A1. All the most necessary words can be found in the dictionaries located after each chapter. At the end of the book, there are exercises to check reading comprehension. The answers to the exercises are found in the last section of the manual.
