Elizabeth Fernmoor, an ambitious... businesswoman and connoisseur of modern art, stepped forward confidently – the sound of her heels echoed off the bare walls and parquet flooring. Soon the antique furniture would shed its dust-laden film, and the walls would sparkle with richly decorated moldings. The mansion welcomed its new mistress and a new name. Now the Museum of Dreams was filled with whimsical paintings: from incredible landscapes to portraits of fantastic beings that Elizabeth herself seemed to have seen somewhere before... Before you is the eighth hero of the adventures "Beyond the Gates". A dreamer, a priestess of Hypnos, a patron, and a businesswoman – all of this describes Elizabeth Fernmoor. In her dreams, she had been seeing the luxurious city of Celephaïs for a long time and meeting with King Kuranes, who told Elizabeth about the greatness of some Sleeper in a cave. But the colorful dreams, long and rich, became darker with each passing time. The last time she spoke with her dream friend, the king was very worried about the fate of his friend Eochaid Bresas. He had not responded to letters for half a century, and the Lands of Eternal Autumn had not been bringing good news lately. Thus, the marvelous city and the wise king disappeared from Elizabeth's dreams, leading her to take a risky step – to open the Gates, find King Samhain, and personally ask him what had happened to her dream friend. "Beyond the Gates" – a tabletop role-playing game inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and Celtic mythology. The game is based on the "Kadat" rule system, which emphasizes descriptive elements, meaning that each session will be maximally atmospheric and will immerse each participant in their role. The game begins in Arkham, a mythical city existing within an alternative history. Your party will take on the role of townsfolk, loosely connected to each other, except for a common goal – everyone wants to pass through the Gates, enter the mysterious World of Dreams, and... appeal to King Samhain himself. Dangers, intrigue, mysteries, and difficult decisions lie beyond the comfort zone of each hero. Will you be able to cross it?
