In the last sunny months of the year, trees transform under the hand of a true artist, nature. The cold wind caresses the branches of the trees, playing with the falling leaves which, like little lights – red, orange, and... gold – illuminate the way.
The journey through the Imperial Garden promises to be unforgettable. Here you will forget about everyday worries and dive into an ocean of colors and aromas and amazing autumn wonders. Momiji invites you to complete various tasks by collecting the most valuable leaves in this ancient garden of Japan.
About the GameYour task is to collect a unique collection of autumn leaves for the herbarium and fulfill the conditions of the goal tokens. The board game offers several modes so that everyone finds something to their taste. For already experienced players, there are extended rules available, and if you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of autumn melancholy alone, “Momiji” has a solo mode with three levels of difficulty.

How to Play?The player who last collected the herbarium goes first. Players take turns in a clockwise direction. On their turn, each player must perform one of three actions:

Collect leaves in the garden. Collect one vertical row of leaf cards from the gardenPlace leaves in the herbarium. Place a leaf card from your hand in the play area in front of you. With this move, you have the opportunity to gain bonuses for paired acorns on the cards
Activate a goal token. For this action, the player will have to spend a whole 3 acorns. However, whoever activated the token becomes its owner. The player openly places it with their herbarium
The game ends when the last card in the leaf deck is revealed or when there are no more gate tokens left. The last moves are made by all players, after which the score is tallied. Hold on tight, friends, we will soon find out who sits at the top this time!You can also perform additional actions. You can activate the terrain property. You can discard two cards from your hand to gain one acorn. Practical, efficient, and after all, there can never be too many acorns!

Who Won?The game ends when the last card in the leaf deck is revealed or when there are no more gate tokens left. All players, including the one whose turn it was, take one more turn, after which the score is counted. Hold on tight, we will soon find out who the best herbariumist is this time!
