Attention! The board game "Codenames: Duet" in Latvian.
The legendary Codenames is back, bringing not only four hundred additional words but also a mode for two players, a special operations map, and more fun and vivid impressions. Forget about opposing each other,...
as now you will need to unite to complete the task within the allotted time.
Safety has reached a new level — now even two agents from the same team do not know all their connections. This means it's time to combine your efforts to decipher the mysterious code. Introducing Codenames: Duet — the most popular game for groups that can now be enjoyed in a more intimate setting.
The key cards in this version are specifically designed for two players or teams. In addition to being double-sided, they are also encoded in such a way that you only see half of the full picture. You need to guess fifteen agents, but each player sees only nine. Three potential assassins can end your triumphant march to victory at any moment.
The key to a fun atmosphere for small and large groupsLet's be clear, Duet offers truly new and vibrant experiences, although they are based on a familiar mechanic. You will, as before, have to guess words, but in turn and with a limited number of moves. You will experience the full spectrum of emotions when your overly cautious partners combine only two words through association or if your imagination suggests an obscure word. But the joy of shared victory cannot be overshadowed. You will have to take risks, seek the right concepts, and try to maintain a stone-faced expression to avoid giving hints.
Players now have access to a mission map — a full campaign where you travel the world to save humanity. You will encounter an extensive network of missions that differ in style and explanation tactics. In the first mission, you have 9 moves and the right to make 9 mistakes. Then the difficulty level increases, and you will face both the fast-paced Dubai, where to fit within 6 moves you must throw out blurry associations, and the meticulous Berlin, where, conversely, you need precise definitions to avoid blunders. The original Codenames set a high bar for quality. Duet becomes a worthy continuation of the traditions of its popular predecessor and fits perfectly with other versions of Codenames. All cards from the duel version are neatly marked with paired dots for easy identification later. In addition, you will find cardboard agent markers, special neutral resident markers, an impressive stack of key cards, and a thick notebook with maps where you can record your records.
