Seika School was once an all-boys school. Recently, it became a co-educational school, but boys still make up the majority. Misaki Ayuzawa (commonly referred to simply as "Misa") is one of the students at this school. She has worked hard... to become the chairperson of the student council, and now she does everything she can to protect the few girls from the bullying boys and to improve the school's image to make it more attractive for new students.
Among the other boys at the school is Usui Takumi. He is very popular among girls, and they regularly confess their love to him. But he remains indifferent to these confessions, which also annoys Misa, as she believes he is hurting them.
However, Misa has one secret. For financial reasons, she has to work as a waitress in a café where the waitresses are dressed as maids.
