At the market, all sorts of goods are traded lively, in the owl's nest, ideas are shared on how to fill your home with warmth,... and the workshop is always ready to improve your daily life. Life in the forest is very cheerful, at least as long as the sun gives warmth and the leaves rustle on the trees. However, these days do not last forever, and long before the weather turns bad, the wise animals begin to prepare for the upcoming long cold winter. You will spend several months in your burrow, and you want to make it as cozy as possible. A pot of hearty soup, a comfortable rocking chair, games and toys – and the dark winter days will fly by unnoticed. Winter is coming. What will you gather, prepare, knit, and craft to create happiness and coziness in your home? In "Cozy Glade," you play as a family of forest creatures preparing for the upcoming winter. This game features an unusual combination of placement and worker activation mechanics: you first assign workers to specific actions and then activate them using dice. A game of "Cozy Glade" lasts several rounds (months). Locations on the game board provide various bonuses (resources, household item cards, and improvement cards). To receive this bonus, place a worker in the location and put a die with the required value on it. But first, roll 2 personal family dice (place workers considering the results of this roll). Then, after placing the workers, roll 4 village dice that will be used throughout the month. After that, players take turns. On your turn, you choose dice from your set (2 family dice and 4 village dice) for each of your placed workers. Use resources to craft household items and build improvements, trying to combine them to earn the most cozy points. At the end of the game, the family with the coziest home wins! Game duration: 40-60 minutes
