Two years have passed since Kirito fell into a mysterious fantasy world and met Eugeo there. 

They became elite cadets at the imperial swordsmanship academy of North Centoria and train day by day, hoping to become Integrity Knights, guardians of the human world order. 

As elite cadets, Kirito and Eugeo received a page each to serve them. Kirito got Ronye, and Eugeo — Tise. 

Together they establish relationships and live a full life as cadets... But human malice stands in their way. 

Ronye and Tise fall into a trap organized by the aristocrats. Upon learning of this, Eugeo grabs his sword, but he is stopped by his faith in the Church.
